It now has a model of a "port zone" I worked on for a test. The task was to keep it under 3500 triangles, vertex light it, have fake reflections, two cranes, and a ship. It just happened I was at Catalina Island over the weekend and I had some great references for cranes, sea ports, and other stuff! (In Monty Burns voice) Excellent..... This is my Demo Reel...but I need to update this one soon. As always, I'm continually updating... A downloadable DIVX version is here. 7/2009 Here's a dragon flight test (and rotating) for the demo reel I'm working on. I made the the model, then textured, mapped, created a normal map (using Zbrush), now it's rigged, and I've now done its first animation--flight! Unrelated, I also wrote a short review and Theme Analysis of Pixar's Up! It can be found here and here. Here's an animation I did couple years ago. I may eventually revamp this character (or make a new one) to go with a cybernetic environment I may eventually get to (after I finish my mansion model). |
